WEDDING DRESSES
We pride ourselves on being able to adapt all of the gowns that we make into totally different looks. By changing the combination of an outfit we can dramatically alter the overall look of a wedding dress. For example the same bodice can be teamed with a variety of skirts to create a large variety of different styles, from straight pencil skirt silouettes through the A'line and Fishtail look to the full Princess line or the very full gathered skirt incorporating lots of tulle underskirts!
By opting for different colours we can again deramatically change the appearance of a wedding dress. Take for example Xena and Zara, these are essentially the same outfi made in completely different colours. The black Xena wedding dress looks very gothic, the red Zara wedding dress is very striking and fashioable, whilst it's ivory counterpart Zara, shown wth a matching shrug jacket looks completely more traditional simply because of the colour!
In order to assist you in choosing your perfect wedding dress we have grouped the wedding dresses into different categories to help you to find the look that you want for your own gown. Please remember though that whichever wedding dress you choose, we can adapt it to your own themes and styles by changing the colour, the fabrics and the skirt shapes.
Each wedding dress has a variety of design options showing the choice you have in skirt shape colour and fabrics.
Colours of wedding dresses
Wedding Dress colour is important as some colours can wash out your complexion. There is a vast array of coloured silks availabe. White wedding dresses make up less than 2% of gowns sold today, with ivory accounting for only 50%. Current bridalwear trends are showing an increase in richer colours for Civil Weddings. More modern Brides are daring to be a little more different deeper coloured wedding dresses. In particular black and red!!
The current colours avalable include White, Ivory, Antique Ivory, Cream, Bridal Gold, Antique gold, Red, Black
